Services: Assists with R.E.A.C.H. (Dominion Energy gas), and LEND A HAND (Rocky Mountain Power). Helps qualified low-income customers pay their utility bills. Applicants must be at least 60 years old and/or handicapped or disabled, or the residence has children ages five and under. Households qualify for assistance once in a 12 month period.

Transitional Services of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Services: Provides resource guidance to those who are homeless, transient, or at risk of homelessness to assist on their path to self-reliance. Assistance could include an outfit for a job interview, hygiene items, snack items, a blanket, a UTA one-day bus pass to get to a shelter or connect with a community resource, coat/hat/gloves, or other needed clothing item(s). Assistance is determined after an intake and interview about the abilities and the needs of the individual or family. During the interview, senior missionary volunteers share additional community resources potentially available to help meet challenges shared.

Utah Office for Victims of Crime

Services: Provides financial assistance to victims who have suffered financial loss, physical injuries, and emotional trauma as a result of a violent crime. Victims must report crime to local law enforcement and submit an application to UOVC to receive benefits. UOVC may pay for medical and dental care, mental health services, funeral and burial costs, relocation and loss of income on approved applications.
