Questions & Answers

Has the UVU survey already been deployed and the data/responses collected, or is this an ongoing or future effort that may overlap with the development of the Active Transportation Plan?

The survey is currently in the deployment stage. It is anticipated that the data will be available to the project team at some point in the development of the Active Transportation Plan, although the exact timing has not yet been determined.

Section F, last bullet: "No more than six pages, not including the cover page and qualifications of key personnel" Does qualifications of key personnel mean resumes or is it referring to the team bios that typically go into a proposal?

Proposals are anticipated to have bios for select team members in the body of the proposal (and subject to the six-page limit) that relate team members' skills to the needs of the project. Consultants may elect to attach resumes of key personnel outside of the body of the proposal (and not subject to the six-page limit).

Are we permitted to use a 11x17 page in our proposal? If so, will it count as one or two pages?

The six-page limit refers to 8.5x11 pages. Consultants may elect to use one or more 11x17 pages, though each of these pages will count as two pages towards the limit.

Statements of Qualifications for WFRC/MAG Consultant Pool

Planning

WFRC and MAG are jointly seeking Statements of Qualifications from eligible consultants to form a prequalified pool of consultants to provide planning and technical assistance to local government projects.

Procurement of projects for the following three programs will be formally tied to the consultant pool:
  • Transportation and Land Use Connection Program (WFRC)
  • Station Area Planning Technical Assistance (WFRC and MAG)
  • Technical Planning Assistance Program (MAG)

WFRC and MAG may also utilize the Consultant Pool for other planning support needs beyond these three programs.

For all technical planning, studies, and modeling activities, MAG and the Wasatch Front Regional Council (WFRC) maintain a pool of pre-qualified consultants to select from. This pool operates on a three-year cycle, with a new request for qualifications (RFQ) published each fall (typically in October).
