Alzheimer's Foundation of America

Services: The mission of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) is to provide support, services and education to individuals, families and caregivers affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias nationwide, and fund research for better treatment and a cure. They operate a free helpline staffed by licensed social workers that provide assistance and support. Video chat with a social worker is also available on the website.

Caregiver Support Program

Services: The Caregiver Support program assists caregivers in their care of individuals 60 years of age and older who are unable to perform routine activities to care for themselves, or if the caregiver is over the age of 55 and caring for an adult with disabilities. Services may include case management, respite, personal care aides, adult day care, information & referral, and caregiver support groups.

Dealing with Dementia: A Caregiver's Guide
