MAG, as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for urban Utah County, funds projects, programs, and studies to improve and expand the transportation network. The MPO allows transportation decision-makers to give input and direction to satisfy regional goals. MAG collaborates with the Utah Department of Transportation and the Utah Transit Authority to guide and approve the MAG Transportation Improvement Program (5-year funded construction program) and Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
