MAG (Mountainland Association of Governments)

Services: MAG Aging and Family Services Department offers services, information, referrals, and advocacy regarding senior issues. Services include non-medical in-home services, Meals on Wheels, the Long-term Care Ombudsman Program, Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIP), Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), Weatherization and H.E.A.T.
Senior Companion Program

Services: Individuals age 55+ act as companions by assisting frail adults with essential needs such as grocery shopping, light housekeeping, meal preparation, socialization, transportation to doctor appointments and respite for caregivers. Companions serve about 15 hours a week or more, and receive a small stipend for their services.

Veterans Health Administration - Geriatrics and Extended Care
Services: Information about home and community based services for Veterans enrolled in the VA health system. Resources include adult day health care, home based primary care, homemaker and home health aide care, hospice care, respite care, and veteran-directed care.
