Air Quality

Cars and trucks produce about half of the air pollution along the Wasatch Front. As a transportation planning agency, MAG is responsible for ensuring that our plans do not result in an unhealthy amount of vehicular air pollution as determined by the EPA.

Public Participation Program

The MAG Public Participation Plan provides guidance and describes the MPO's strategies and techniques to inform and engage the public, to the greatest extent possible, in the various transportation planning issues and programs with the purpose of maximizing participation and effectiveness.

Title VI

A main component of regional planning work is done with the involvement the region's residents and stakeholders. MAG is guided by federal Title VI and environmental justice mandates and strives meet these mandates creating an overall transparent and inclusive planning process. The Title VI Plan outlines the policy MAG follows and shows the work we perform to ensure fairness and equity in the planning process.
