Mountainland Association of Governments (MAG) is taking comments on the proposed FY-2014 MAG Budget and Work Program. A public hearing will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in the Clyde Companies Building, 730 North 1500 West, Orem, Utah.
Elder Abuse ConferenceJune 15 is World-Wide Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
In an effort to raise awareness and enhance prevention efforts, Mountainland and Provo City Police Department are partnering with the Utah Area Agencies on Aging and other leading community-based organizations in hosting the 1st Annual Elder Abuse Conference. The conference will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Utah County Convention Center, 220 West Center Street, Provo, Utah.
H.E.A.T. Assistance
The Home Energy Assistance Target program, known as H.E.A.T. is now closed to new applicants until November 1, 2013. Low-income clients who may qualify for the HEAT Program, and who have a 48-Hour shutoff notice from their utility, may qualify for our Crisis Program.
