Title VI Plan

Title VI is a federal civil rights law. It prohibits discrimination based on race, color, national origin, and income level in a program or activity that receives federal funds. Discrimination against an individual with a disability is forbidden by the ADA.

MAG works on transportation projects that receive federal funds and follows Title VI standards.

MAG serves the communities of Utah, Wasatch, and Summit Counties. MAG works with local communities to anticipate and project growth, ensure environmental and air quality standards, and overall mobility needs.

MAG is guided by federal Title VI guidelines and environmental justice mandates and strives to not only meet these requirements but to create an overall transparent, inclusive planning process. The Title VI Plan for MAG was updated in July 2019.

Any issue with Title VI in these counties can come to the MAG building at 586 E. 800 N. Orem, UT 84097 to file a complaint. There are forms in English and Spanish.
