Thanks for visiting the American Fork Canyon Vision Project website. As a result of public comments and confusion with the separate Mountain Accord project, the Steering Committee has directed staff to:
1. Pause the American Fork Canyon Vision planning study to allow Mountain Accord to resolve land trade issues in upper American Fork Canyon with Utah County.
2. Continue the USU intercept survey work through January 2016 to develop a good data set on current users.
3. Refund the $50,000 Snowbird project contribution with remaining project fund balance to remove the perception that Snowbird has any undue influence in the current and future planning processes.
As quarterly USU intercept survey results become available they will be posted under the “Intercept Survey” tab. If this planning project is initiated again we will resume posting information to it.
