The 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) was adopted by Mountainland MPO Regional Planning Committee on 5 May 2011. The transportation plan is a guide to maintain and enhance the regional transportation system for urbanized Utah County.
2011-12 Work Program
The Work Program is prepared annually and describes the transportation planning work by the Mountainland Metropolitan Planning Organization,Utah Department of Transportation, and Utah Transit Authority. The Work Program gives an overview of the planning process, describes the work planned for FY-2012, budget, and sources of funding.

TIP Selection ProcessFor MPO Transportation FundsTIP Project Selection The MPO funds projects and programs that have congestion relief, air quality, safety, and multimodal benefits. The process for funding new projects is ongoing. All sponsors requesting funding must complete a Project Idea Form and be approved the the MPO Technical Advisory Committee before moving on to complete a Concept Report. A calendar with due dates, the selection process, and other tools are available to aid in developing proposed projects. |
