The Regional Transportation Planning Department at MAG has worked hard to improve the transportation network in Utah County for nearly 3 decades. In recent years, we have assisted in providing funding for many crucial projects.

The MAG Regional Planning department has staff members focusing on all transportation issues that pertain to Utah County, including transit ridership, safe  and effcient bicycle and pedestrian travel, improving air quality and congestion-free roads and highways. We have in-house travel demand modeling and GIS for data and decision support.

Many members of the MPO staff speak a language other than English, such as:  Spanish, French, Latvian, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Fijian, Hindi, Greek, and we contract with InterWest Interpreting for American Sign Language.
