Community Development includes demongraphic information about the region, the coordination of professional community planning services to communities, development of various plans that impact our communities, and administration of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Demographics includes historic, current and future population projections, as well as other demographic information developed from the results of the 2000 Census.
CDBG is a grant program funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Information on the program, policies and forms are provided.
The Consolidated Plan includes links to the currently approved Consolidated Plan for the Mountainland Region, and associated maps of jurisdictions. Draft plans that are in the development stage may also be listed. The Mountainland Consolidated Plan is completed annually with the input of all jurisdictions to meet the requirements of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and other funding resources.
The 10-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness is a document completed in conjunction with the Mountainland Region Continuum of Care. The document provides an overview of the services and programs in the region to address homelessness, and identifies goals to meet additional needs.
The Hazard Plan is a document completed with the input of all jurisdictions to fulfill federal, state and local hazard mitigation planning responsibilities.
