TIP-Funded Projects

2010 TIP

The TIP lists all transportation projects and programs within the urban area of Utah County that are funded with federal transportation funds and regionally significant projects funded with state and local funds. The time span of the TIP is between federal fiscal years 2010 and 2013 (4 years).

TIP Selection Committee

The TIP Selection Committee is made up of engineers and planners from the member jurisdictions of the MPO. The committee meets every 2 years to select projects for federal transportation funding that is made available to the MPO. The following files are submittals from the jurisdictions requesting funding. The committee reviews this information and will have a field review of the projects before voting on which projects to fund. Their recommendation will be sent to the Regional Planning Committee (elected officials) for final approval.

TIP Concept Report Forms

A blank concept report is to be used by a sponsoring organization to request MPO federal transportation funds for each individual project. The forms are in an MS Word format that can be downloaded, filled out in Word and saved. All concept reports are to be submitted to the MPO electronically via email or on a CD. Supporting documentation, such as maps and diagrams, are to be submitted electronically in the same manor, perferably in .pdf format.

2012 Transportation Projects

This map includes major regional roadway and transit projects the Mountainland Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) anticipates will be built or under construction by 2012. Funding has been secured and individual projects are in both the MPO Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and the Statewide Improvement Program (STIP) or are anticipated to be adopted shortly.
