2016 Annual Action Plan

In collaboration with Summit and Wasatch Counties and all of the towns within, and various service providers, a Draft FY16 Wasatch and Summit Annual Action Plan (AAP) has been completed in order to meet State and Federal requirements.  The AAP maintains the region's eligibility for Utah Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Funding (CDBG) and other HUD formula funds. The AAP has been completed following an outline provided by the State of Utah.  The plan also identifies regional priorities for Community Development Block Grant funding and capital improvement project listings by jurisdictions.

Mountainland Association of Governments will hold a public hearing to consider feedback on the Draft FY16 Wasatch and Summit AAP which outlines community needs, potential community funding priorities, and program structure and governance for the program year 2016.  The estimated amount of CDBG funds for this program year will be discussed along with the range of projects eligible.

The hearing will be held at Mountainland Association of Governments at 586 E 800 N in Orem on Monday, March 7 at 5pm.  Suggestions will be solicited verbally, electronically, and in writing from all interested parties during the public comment period from February 5 – March 6, 2016.
